Photo Memory Board

Hello crafty friends! I'm beyond excited to be sharing my Weekend Whimsy project with you. I had one of those A'ha moments when I was looking through all the pictures I've been taking with my phone. Most of the pictures I take with my phone are just random everyday activites of my life and family. I don't always feel like going through the process of downloading them, organizing them and deciding which ones are scrap worthy. Obviously I took the pictures for a reason so for todays Weekend Whimsy project, I created a "Photo Memory Board". A place to display the photos I really love, along with our most current event(s). I wanted it to be fun and bright and the My Girl paper collection by My Mind's Eye was perfect along with their chipboard elements, label stickers and decorative buttons.

I needed a firm foundation for my Photo Memory Board, and ta'da' I happen to have this zebra printed memo board. It was perfect!

The first step which I find extremely important is the framing process. This process helps me get an idea of just what my project might look like when it's all done.

My goal was to create individual photo areas for all the photos I wanted to display. I wanted a Polaroid frame on my Photo Memory Board so I created one using the photo templates 3 1/2 X 3 1/2 and 4x6. I just love how adorable my polaroid turned out!

Here's a look at my finished "Photo Memory Board" without photo's.  Just look at how cute that My Girl paper collection looks!

And here's a look at my "Photo Memory Board" with photo's and a close up of my polaroid frame displaying a picture.
